NO! Sorry for shouting. The clearout from the showcasing is fine and long overdue BUT not the builds themselves. I really love the basic built houses used from the basic game only or with limited amount of packs. Both because I can't build to save my life but I can do renovations and addons which I really love doing and I use stuff from the packs I own.
The other reason is that when I didn't have all the packs (only missing the parent pack now) it was a pain trying to find a good build I was interested in that was built with only the packs I owned. Very often I found a build I really loved only to realise it contained construction materials and furnishings from packs I didn't own.
But on the other hand I do wish the sorting were much better than it is. The gallery search feature is flawed when comparing to other search features awailable in other mediums. We need more and better sorting abilities. It would have been really nice to be able to limit my search to lots and households containing features from packs I didn't have.
Also would be nice to have a better indepth search engine that can sort better. For instance if I am interested in a lot that has a residential building, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, costs a specific amount (feature already awailable), of a specific size (also awailable), has been built for a specific lot (the tags are not sufficient in this case) and even specific world. The tag system could also use a bit of an overhaul. I find it very limiting being able only to search for 1 tag in each search.
And you make a good point regarding the newer builds. They need better exposure. And this is really not a post to get banned over, IMHO.
