I've even had an adult go sit on a toddler bed to eat while the toddler was asleep and the rest of the family were seated at the dining table or watching TV.Sometimes I think it comes to preference, but I also agree sims like to be with others. a toddler took her dinner into the bedroom sat on her bed to eat and her sister toddler came in and did the same. then the whole family came in say on the toddler beds and ate and talked.
