The windowsills don't have slots but you can place items if you raise them to proper height. I would have loved for cats to be able to sleep there or just sit and watch the birds outside. With invisible chairs maybe even sims could get to sit there too.

So how do you add items to them? I find this a bit of a letdown, the windows are fantastic, but why not add slots to them so pets and objects can actually use the space? :D I would also love if kids could sit on them to do their homework. Or if I could place pillows there.

I use ctrl+9 to raise them and ctrl+0 to lower them. Moveobjects needs to be enabled.
