Eco Lifestyle Traits and Aspirations

Have you decided which aspiration and traits you're going to start with?

Traits

Maker TraitThese Sims become happy when making things. They become sad when it’s been too long since completing a project on a Fabricator, Candle-making Station, Juice Fizzer, or Woodworking Table. They do not receive negative effects from crafting or repair failures.

Green FiendThese Sims are happiest when living on a green street and will continuously work towards making their environment more Eco-friendly.

Freegan – These Sims reject consumerism and prefer to reduce wasteful spending by any means. They enjoy finding re-used or thrown away goods and foods. In fact, they have the best luck at finding the highest-quality treasures in Dumpsters! They may become tense or uncomfortable if they spend too much time earning or spending Simoleons.

Recycle DiscipleThese Sims are rabid recyclers that benefit from recycling and rummaging for bits and pieces, but should they go too long without indulging in their hobby...

Aspirations

Eco Innovator (Nature) This Sim wants to build a better, greener community. This aspiration focuses on the neighborhood action plan and the Civil Designer career.

Master Maker (Creativity) This Sim wants to become an expert at Fabrication. This aspiration focuses on the Freelance
career.
  • I'm going to give my sim freehan, recycle disciple, and maker. That's the only drawback I tend to encounter in playing one family. It takes me forever to complete goals. She'll have the Master Maker aspiration, live off grid, probably in Glimmerbrook, and work on the freelance career. Once that aspiration is complete I'll move her to Evergreen Harbor, give her the green fiend trait, the Eco Innovator aspiration, and have her work on the Civil Designer career and focus on turning Evergreen Harbor green.
  • Information about aspiration tasks I found so far (in LPs):

    Master Maker
    Jerry Rigger
-Achieve Level 3 Skill in Fabrication
    -Recycle 5 times
    The Better Builder
-Achieve Level 5 Skill in Fabrication
    -Fabricate 5 items
    -Have 5 Dyes
    Competent Crafter
-Achieve Level 7 Skill in Fabrication
-Collect Insects from an Insect Farm 3 times
    -Create 5 candles
    Master Maker
-Achieve Level 10 Skill in Fabrication
    -Make 20 Candles
-Complete 5 gigs as a Freelance Crafter

    Eco Innovator
    Eco-Economist
    -Have 5 Community Influence Points
-Vote on 1 Neighborhood Action Plan
    Clean City Civilian
-Sell Power or Water on a utility bill
    -Become a Civil Designer
    Civil Citizen
-Attempt to convince a Sim to Vote on a Neighborhood Action Plan
-Vote on Neighborhood Action Plans two separate times
-Reach level 10 of the Civil Designer Career

I find it weird the second one has only 3 tiers. Also, most of them can be completed on the first day while the remaining one might take weeks (my Sim might be lucky having the matching degree).

Don't forget there are also new LOT TRAITS! The ones I know about are all about generating more filthy trash and I love it! There's "Reduce and Recycle" which is for residential lots and it makes sims generate more trash and they are able to go through and compost all the trash. I just read about another one called "Landfill" which sounds like it's for venues only and it generates lots of trash! I LOVE how many details that they thought of! This pack seems to address every playstyle out there. Let's hope that this is the new normal for Sims packs!

Yes, i saw a guru talking in twitter about the Landfill lot trait! I am happy now that i know that there's a lot trait for venues. That way right when i install the pack i will decide which lots or neighbourhoods i want to be filthy when my sims visit. I think my biggest issue may be solved.
  • Clara is going to have the Eco Innovator aspiration and the Green Fiend trait. Nick is going to have the Freegan trait. Not sure about the aspiration because neither of the new ones fit his story, might need to find a custom one.
