eco living career

I'm facing this exact same issue. It worked out the first time, because I was at least able to complete one of the tasks, but the next tasks given, BOTH required she do some kind of rally. It's Tuesday... So, guess my sim will be getting poor performance. I can't believe they never thought this would be a problem.

I chose the wrong path in the Civil Designer career for my sim, and although I've made her quite the job and search for the job again, she starts exactly the same place she left the career, I have even tried to use cheat to demote her, but as soon as she gets to lvl 4 and I try to demote again, she just looses the job completely so I cant make her lvl 3 and chose the green technician path, and she cant make the meat wall!

is there someway I can fix this?

You can unlock the Green Technician branch by completing the Physics degree if you have Discover University. Degrees are the only way to change career branches through normal gameplay.

You might be able to change branches through cheats. Carl's website has a good list. https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/cheats.php

There are probably several mods that would let you change your Sim's career to the other branch. I'm not familiar with any of them but I'd check the Master Controller Command Panel (MCCP) mod first if I was going to use mods.

I had similar with the botany career. My sim planted a cowplant berry and every day while it was in the baby stage she got cowplant interactions as her work tasks that couldn't be completed until it grew up. She never got it while she didn't have a cowplant on the lot, so it must have been triggered by her planting one, so that same programming could be used to designate the voting tasks to only be triggered on weekends. So I have to agree more testing was probably in order.

I can confirm Mccc has an option to reset the career branch. Itis easy to find under the career cheats.
