Elder will not die!
I have no idea how old she is, but all her kids but one have died of old age.. and she's still kicking. Is that a bug, or is it really possible for Sims to get REALLY old? Her grand-grand children ...

It's possible. I've still got a couple of distant relative sims kicking around in one of my games who were born four generations ago. I notice if they have the active trait it seems to keep them around longer - even if they don't finish the fitness aspiration (they're NPCs). Using a Sim Info mod I've found they have a lot more days than a normal one. One only has seven more days to go now though >:)
