Elevators and Spiral Staircase (Do they work?)

We don't have spiral staircases in Sims 4.

The elevators are teleporters. They don't have any animations, they cheapened out.

To my knowledge you can'T build with the elevators, they're just for city living lots. Maybe there's a workaround of some sort, but they're not meant for building our own stuff.

I don't think one can build with them it's just to teleport sims to apartment levels or penthouse levels though if it is penthouse lot obviously you don't have to put them on lowest level of your build but inside house they'll still need stairs to go floor to another

you also can't build own apartments with city living but university roommates may help to make mockup and got same teleporter

not sure why we don't have inside house elevator things though since rom teleporters pretty much already do that minus the fact they are big as heck magical arches

So are you saying elevators work in builds outside of San Myshuno, because I had an apartment complex build in Strangerville with elevators and it did not work...??

I found this elevator CC mod by TheSimmer40 through Honnahoops Sims4 article. Looks like it works. You need "Realm of Magic" to get teleporters. Not sure if you would also need "City Living". I don't have either pack yet so buying two packs just for a mod, not even in any packs, seems a bit much.

If someone can make an elevator that actually works with the programed mechanics already in the game, why the heck can't Maxis and EA?
