Here's to hoping I'm not gonna leave a wake of sad Sims behind me just because my fairy has to eat.
According to the blog post they should be able to fill this need with a potion as well. I will definitely look into that option as well.
I think they may be able to fly over water, because ghosts can do that already

I wonder what they will be able to do without a fairy form. Vampires can exist without a vampire form so I hope something similar can be done for fairies as well. The pictures show fairies with moth wings, and even a fairy with horns (blue skinned fairy in original post) so I hope for some customisation that is not only cute and pretty fairies.
Oh I'm sorry I was wrong about the flying over water. I just noticed my ghost sim can't fly over swimmable water, but she can fly over nonswimmable water in the ghost town in Ravenwood 🤔
