amjoie I saw the mood shrub in the trailer and it looks useful. Depending on the reaction of sims on fairies feeding on their emotions, I might have to use this a lot.
What is the difference between fea, faerie and fairy? In my language we don't make that distinction.
atreya33 The way I have always used it, and I might be wrong about this in a general sense, but I think that fae refers to the plural of faerie, and might include other types like elves, gnomes, pixies, nature sprites and etc. So, more inclusive and referring to many rather than just one. Since the game will be giving an ability to have fauns and satyrs as well as pointed ears, it seemed to me that the more inclusive term was correct.
As far as the use of the word faerie, I read a whole lot of old world tales of the fae when I was young those books used this spelling. so I think it is just an older form of the word. It looks more enchanted to me, and I have always preferred it to the more modernized (and possibly more western/new world) version of the word, which is fairy.
I think it doesn't really matter, and they are all commonly used interchangeably.
