They should have added this as a selection when you are clicking on the sim, not on the ground... clicking on the ground should be used for navigating only.
This is a hard disagree for me, actually. I already find it annoying that things like cloud-gaze and stargaze are selected on the sim, so half the time they end up doing it somewhere really stupid and inconvenient. This would be exactly the same. I want to tell my sims precisely where to sleep or forage, so I'm glad they did it this way.
