I don't know why they keep doing this. I guess to show that these clothes are more compatible with masculine frames? But it defeats the purpose of having masculine and feminine tags in the first place.
It also takes a bit of fun away from making male sims who wear feminine clothing, imo. If clothing has no gender, then you lose some of the fun of exploring. Gender expression is a lot more fun when you're going against the grain, instead of playing by the rules.

I agree. The tags should be correct. It is amazing that we can turn off tags or deliberately choose the other gender. But that only works with properly tagged items.
Life and death has the same issue.
