Using most of the fairy plant powers drains your power meter a ridiculous amount, forcing you to recharge. At least that balances out with how overpowered gardening in general is, but it means that the power is mostly useless and you should just stick to using the crazy amount of Fairy Dust the game throws at you anyway.
Also, I can't tell what the point of the new potted plants are. They barely grow or require any upkeep. You name them and... that's it. They're basically a glorified object. I was hoping you'd have to put more effort into them, like a real plant. Let them grow to crazy amounts and look unruly. Maybe give them some quirky way to show love in return. ("Cletus loves you for watering them! They're so happy, they sprouted gold leaves that you can sell for cash.") I know plants IRL are pretty boring, but this is The Sims. Here, they're regular harvestables, but worse. I'm just gonna use the new pots for the old harvestables we have in game.
