Alright,this needs to be said.We are going to have playable faries.There not npcs or special pets.On Simscomunity we have a picture that shows life size faries.

Boggarts, Redcaps, Slugah, trows, swamp hags, nucklevee, pwca... none of them possible with the fairies we're getting. They weren't possible in Sims 3 either, so I wasn't really expecting them. But still...
i'm worried about ailments when i watched the trailer
i want to create a Tinkerbell or Winx Club stories without worrying about the ailments, i hope it's only there when your fairy sim is in contact with other sims with ailments and in 1 specific world only if you touch nature (in this case innisgreen) or its like tied with "Lot Challenge/Trait" or having the settings to toggle it on/off
i know it's just a reveal trailer but i hope in 2 weeks we see a gameplay trailer where we get to see the fairy world or atleast similair to Glimmerbrook because we only saw a fairy house but i hope there's a secret world in it we can interract with rather than rabbit-holes, i hope the gameplay trailer shows it
i have complaint about 1 hairstyle...the curly hair from the mom at the start of the trailer looks a lot like the already existing pack, i can't remember exactly which one, it was either island living or snowy escape
rather more like 2 concerning things and 1 actual negative thing about the pack
I know I'm probably not going to like the Ailments thing (hopefully I'm wrong!), I don't use the herbalism skill at all / foraging, don't care about sleeping on the ground at all, and I honestly really dislike the world - I was really hoping for a whimsical, enchanted, new zealand/LOTR inspired world and it seems like they went for that but they definitely fell short... it screams Willow Creek to me and Willow Creek is my most disliked world :(
As usual, 80% of what was shown seemed like reskinned features. Sleeping anywhere, foraging and eating raw food was taken from the Werewolves pack.
Even the indoor plant watering animation is taken from base game, it's not even a watering can it's still the javel spray, girl that plant is going to DIE.
I expect all of the different effects fairies can inflict to be things we can already do ingame, just like spellcasters that didn't bring any new interaction into the game.
I expect ailments are to be badly tuned, as it often happens with these kind of things.
All of the pack's budget went into the fairies animations, it seems 😕
They should have added this as a selection when you are clicking on the sim, not on the ground... clicking on the ground should be used for navigating only.
Oh yes that will be bothersome. I always click the wrong option when my sims have a bike, because the "bike here" is where the "go here" usually is 😅
sailorleontine Yes, toggles. The more toggles they build into packs I feel make them more usable (and desireable!) by more players. I want the Natural Living Skill and the world, but I don't want Ailments or Fairies or Disruptive Sims.
2hCreations I find I never use Herbalism Skill because it relies so heavily on a specific world. And it's a vacation world. I'm not there enough, and the harvestables you need are rarely in season. It's genuinely difficult to use. I'm optimistic that Apothecary Skill seems to use some base game harvestables as well.
I was about to write just that :) I wish the "Go here" was always on top. It's so frustrating to tell a sim to "Bike here" - indoor.
