Energized Speech

Question

I have a question about giving an "energized speech" in uptown district.  My social media sim was given this task when working from home.   He did his speech,  I got a notification saying it was a successful speech,  but the work task section didn't check off that I completed the task.    It still read "Perform Energized Speech in Uptown 0/1" .   Usually when a task is completed it will check it off.  Did I do something wrong?

Was he in an energized emotional state at the time, for the whole of the speech? If yes, it should have worked.

Did you choose give energized speech or just give speech?I always had my sim drink the energized potion to keep the energy up through the whole speech

Yeah, make sure you click on "energized speech". It will have the yellow tag beside it.
