I read that visiting office hours and emailing professors helps a bit. I used to have this problem and it was super frustrating with sims I knew were doing all the work.
One time I emailed my professors 2 days before classes ended and they said my sim was on the cusp of failing a particular course. So I had that sim study until they got a confident moodlet, hand in outstanding work, and they were able to finish the course with an A.
-Get to class on time (take notes)
-Strive for 'Outstanding' on all work
-Visit office hours
-Email professors
-Study like crazy, especially in courses they say you're nearly failing
If worse comes to worse you can seduce your professor and iirc ask for a boost to your grade that way.
Edit: Oh gosh. :grimace: I forgot I was answering a question posed later in the thread rather than the op's question. My apologies.
