Entering the Lottery.

It cost §100 to enter the lottery.

I find that a crazy expensive amount. I wouldn't complain if it was §10 or maybe even §30 maximum, but §100? Damn. Anyone else?
  • It's a feature with the Seasons Expansion. In the calendar you can enter your sims into the lottery, when it rolls around. It'll cost you §100 per sim though, but you have a chance at winning §1,000,000.
  • LOL! It feels like GTA online prices for sure, some of my sims don't even have $100 in their household, so in a house of 5 adults, I now have 0 chances of winning in a household that could use it the most. It would be nice if it was cheaper and maybe you could buy multiple tickets.

I'm annoyed because I usually play the lottery with one household and an NPC always wins, so recently tried to up the chances for my active sims. I had the adults in all of my active households play which literally look me almost 2 hours of loading screens and there was never an announcement of who won the lottery the next day...I'm guessing this was a glitch because I always get the lottery results - I checked every household that played to see if one of them may have won without a notification and none of them won. I was so mad that I wasted my time and patience...never again.
  • But, in a household of 8, if they don't win then that's §800 down the talking toilet. I'm just saying §100 per sim seems exorbitant.

P.s. The first time I had one of my sims entered the lottery Nancy Landgraab won... ?
  • I once got the notification that my sims could enter the lottery, and I did. It's never happened since, and that was a few sim weeks ago. Now I always forget to check if I can enter again (I understand the lottery happens once a week?) because there is no message saying the lottery is on. Is this a glitch?
  • I usually don't play with cheats so when I entered the lottery I won 1,000,000 Simoleons and completed a milestone. Never happened again tho...
  • I know some may consider entering and then winning the lottery as 'easy' money, but it's not cheating.
