Ethnicity, Sexuality, Religion, and maybe a Few Other Things

Motivated by a recent post on my storytelling thread here, I wonder how other Simmers approach race, sexuality, and religion in their gameplay. I wonder if Simmers make conscious decisions about ...

Ethnicity - After I make my sim self, I do a dice roll on all other sims & just play what I get.
Sexuality - Since I like to play through generations of the same families, I don't make same sex couples.
Religion - Not a factor in my games. I view the sims as living on their own world, one where I am a god.
