My current sim family is Native American, Korean, Black, and White. I seriously make whatever race sim that I feel like when it comes to choosing who their next partner will be. I also utilize the "Create with Genetics" button a lot which involves me somewhat making a guideline for one parent and lazily randoming the other parent. I am in love with how easy it is to create sims of any race in TS4 so I've got a lot of years to make up for from TS3. I simply create whatever floats my boat at the time or whatever sim ends up looking the prettiest. I love The Sims because I can create a world that represents the real world but the media doesn't want to represent.
Sexuality wise, I usually keep them straight nowadays just for genetic's sake, but I seriously have to break out of that. I plan on making one of my current sims bi so that's a good start for me, but I did have a lot of gay sims in TS3.
Religion? Meh. They get Christmas trees but I don't want them to be religious.
