My vampire sim and his human wife had twin boys, one was a vampire like his daddy while the other was human-like his mummy. So I'd say it's pretty 50/50, code-wise it probably plays off a similar command-string that determines if an infant will be male or female when born (without taking into accounts for gender odds increases like carrots and strawberries) and increases the odds of twins or triplets.
