Experiment: Can RoM potions break an NPCs sexual and romantic orientations?

I have an NPC sim that isn't attracted to my gender. I tried drinking alluring aura but it did nothing. I'm actually happy if there is no way to change an NPCs mind without of course controlling the ...

I know vamps have powers to change minds per se too but I don't wanna be a vamp to achieve this. I'm playing an up and coming male actor who happens to have a crush on his homegirl that isn't in to dudes lol.
