Fabricate this, you monkey-loving son of a seagul!

Okay so Aaron has the maker trait but almost every time he tries to fabricate something he ends up wasting materials and covered in paint! He currently has like a 10% success rate! Is this common? He'...

It took my maker Sim awhile to actually succeed at anything. I don't remember what level they had to get to before they were always successful, it's been awhile since I did that one. I completed it, but I was so bored by then that I decided never to do it again.
