There's more clues hinting towards witches being the next supernatural, but perhaps they decide to add faeries in the future :)

Mostly descriptions on objects that have been added into the game in the last few packs.

I know there's a bunch of magic references in laundry day.
But yes, I think witches will probably get their own pack and be next. But I suspect Fairies will come later if we get a Supernatural EP.

Personally, I'm hoping for a wider themed "Mythology" pack, where we get a bigger variety of mythical beings and beasts. But my hopes might be shooting a bit high, haha.

Has there ever been a pack that was hinted in object decriptions and such that has come to fruition today in the Sims 4?

There is an outfit category titled "witch" hat's been in the game files for a few years now, alongside things like more bed animations and piercings.

Pets were referenced in Get to Work. One of the fridges descriptions talks about pet food.
Vampires were referenced with the creepy bush eyes + "tell joke about vampire" being in the base game

Witches, or at least some kind of magic pack, look to be next. Adding magic to the pack will be a huge gamechanger if done well.

If you can learn magic, you don't really need a new lifestate. I'm not sure though - maybe we will have people born with a natrual affinity for magic.

Faeries are a different kind of magic.

I hope so, I have a different opinion on plant sims and genies I don't think they are much on their own but they could be a more permanent addition as the result of a fairy spell or witch curse however they decide to do more supernaturals if they do...maybe an imaginary friend too. That one I hope can be made over in cas or something.
