I hope they have a roadmap where they are going to be more transparent, and communicative about bug updates, base game updates, and the direction they plan on going with Sims 4.
Ideally, I think it would be great if they just put all the cards on the table, times are tough, things are getting too expensive, and this is what they have to sell/make money—if they are to keep up with bug fixes, base game updates, etc. And if we want to see major bug fixes and base game updates—which they can't make money on—and that it will mean more and more updates that will break mods, but it would eventually lead to more feature toggles, improvements, and fixes. To just be patient, and they'd be straight with us the timeframe(s), and what they will and will not actually try for Sims 4—we could just know once and for all.
I think this could help start a healthier relationship with those who are wavering, be what is needed for those who had enough to move on, and just move forward with the rest. I want to see the franchise, and the players still wanting to play just have that "this is how it is going to be" talk. And those who will most likely never be pleased can have their vent, and move on to hopefully something that will make them happy.
Other than that, I'd of course love a medieval (with dragons) pack, as well as other themes. But I don't think those have been in surveys so may not be in the near future at this time—but I can still dream.
