I have been waiting for a hotel and vacation-pack for so long, and I dread the new pack. There is zero talk about a new venue type (hotels) or multifunktion lots, which would be needed to make hotels good, and instead there seem to be like this camping outdoor retreat but for kids vibe - but with gyms - over the new pack. They talk about you being able to customise the vacation spot, so more like a single lot in a vacation world, or some place like the hospital or science lab where you can change the lot as you please but there is only one in a set world with no local residents. There seem to be no chatter about normal hotel functions - the ability to build a cheesy motel, a luxury spa hotel by the beach, the city penthouse hotel or the family friendly pool extravaganza hotel.
I hope I am wrong. I really, really, really hope I am wrong. But so far, this is not giving me the right vibes. Archery and torturing butterflies is not something I am aiming for so I'll pass if that is the core of what the EP has to offer, even if I want new exercise equipment.
Same here! I'm 100% wrong too, and it's all my fault! I after the previous old year of 2019 came, I should've mentioned just "Caribbean" instead of mixed between "Caribbean, Spanish, Hawaiian islands" right before the release of Island Living EP, which is why I made a mistake. 😭😭😭😭
And all of the sudden I'm stuck on having Caribbean-inspired furniture, decorations, and the rest of the build/buy, and some Create a Sim items were added to the base game, but no Puerto Rican rice, Jamaican beef patties, and the rest of the foods from the Caribbean islands, and most of all... reggae station! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
