Fall 2025 Roadmap

I'm still hoping for Spiral Stairs & long time old broken glitches finally being fixed.

Nothing but bug fixes and bettering the game we have now. I don't need and won't buy new content for now. If they plan on continuing The Sims 4 for the longest time (I like the idea) they also need to do something for the base of this game to be able to add to it.

It looks like either Thursday the 28th or next Tuesday, September 2nd. Next week makes more sense because it covers September to December. I'm hoping for bug fixes more than anything else; fix the pack selection tool they gave us with the last update, fix the save corruptions from For Rent, etc. I think we could use a break from kits and EPs for awhile to make sure that the packs run well. 

Whatever comes with the roadmap, I hope it gives us more for infants, toddlers, and kids to do. More infant/toddler furniture like bouncy chairs, playmats, playpens, strollers, pacifiers, playground equipment, etc.  Maybe new afterschool clubs for children, teens, and add a preschool option (instead of daycare for toddlers where they actually learn something). Bring back private schools and boarding schools so kids have an option in their education.

The younger age groups and the elders don't get as much love. A lot of EP themes are mostly adult themed which makes generational gameplay not as fun. Revamp elders who there is something for them to do when they age up besides retire and die. Like retirement homes, raising up their grandchildren, maybe specific aspirations that they can only access as an elder to finalize their last effects, etc. 

I'm hoping for a solution to the over spawning Townies in odd outfits 🤞 and some fixes for the console experience 🙏. Not that I am in anyway stressed by these things at all 😩... honestly (and it did not take me an afternoon to move a house and start redoing all my landscaping because I can't rotate lots anymore!)

Gameplay wise I'm interested in talk of more vacation gameplay and what that could bring, I'd love some more ocean or water themed worlds and lots. Are boats too much to hope for?

I also would love more music! It's time to expand on what we can currently do in the game. I've been holding off recreating my Sims based on TSwift, Ariana G and others because I thought we'd have more music by now. True story my Swift Sim actually marries an athlete! I literally predicted this when I first created her in 2018! Yikes, could I be a little bit psychic 🔮? But that brings me to another want of mine, more sports! 

I would like to see more vacation stuff. I would love an expansion pack that includes resorts and the ability to visit places in the vacation world as an excursion, being able to access those through the reception desk. I would love it if the could include completing adventures as well which maybe you could find at a local town, these adventures could be at the same places you can visit through excursions but have secret entrances only available if you select the activity as an adventure. I would love the resorts to be quite in-depth too, allowing different types of lots to function on the same lot such as a gym and a restaurant.

I know it won't happen but more bug fixes than pack releases. Slow down the content and focus on fixing the game breaking bugs for a few months.

 Cars, actual vacations and stuff actually getting fixed. Not just skirting around it with pack selection. I know cars will likely never happen but a girl can dream.

And drums. My Supernatural Girls band is not a band without drums since that's the instrument that one of them plays. 

I honestly could care less about any more EP, GP, Kits or any of it. Just fix the bugs that keep occurring with every darn update! Honestly, please stop putting out new packs! Until you do I plan on keeping my money until I can play my game without a whole new save after every darn update that fixes nothing but adds more problems. Ok, rant over! 🤪

The shareholders not like bug fixing that does not make money for them.

It doesn't matter because it won't be fun, The Sims isn't Minecraft or Lego.

A game for workaholic and chore freak sims.
