Family Tree Culling

For my legacy challenge I use MCCC to turn culling off for specific sims and it's been working well in keeping the family tree intact. I'm on Gen 5.

I go to MC Command Center (on my Sim) > Sim Flags > MC Command Center > Flag to Never Cull.

But would I have to do that to every sim in my favourites tab? That’s like 30 sims ?

I believe if you set it at a number of Sims to unlimited, then they will not be culled? Default is at around 200 Sims. Or use MCCC mod to prevent culling.

I have MCCC so I will definitely looking that, thank you. I don’t care about the npc’s just my townies I’ve worked hard to get to where they are.

They still constantly call you even if they are buried in your backyard...No dead ghost dad, I don't want to meet you downtown!

I hate when when the ghost's call you, until her mother's spirit passed- Dina was constantly getting called from Katrina (Her mother) to meet her out in various places. It's so annoying.

The Family Tree system is much better in TS3

I so agree, TS3 was better for many reasons: Story progression, no calling ghosts (That i remember), When people died they didn't disppear from your family tree eventually (That I remember). I miss TS3! I can't play it because I upgraded my mac so it's not compatible anymore :disappointed: Does anyone know when they will upgrade TS3 for 64-bit systems?

And they don't even indicate in-laws and second cousins in the relationship panel!
