My game does it too. So you are not alone.
its small things like this that makes me question if the baby is actually an object. Cause if it is an object, and not a sim ... why does the time not continue fast forward if sims are sleeping.
I just normally end up fast-forwarding it myself when the sims are alseep and the baby is awake.
