In a lot of cases, if it really doesn't appeal to me then I probably haven't bought it. It's also possible for my opinion to change or for me to appreciate something more over time. What I am doing with the story matters too.
Favorite EP: Get Together and City Living go well together IMO. They both feature largely in my rotation in an integrated way. Right now, I'm playing with more GT families but I can easily switch over to San Myshuno and I send my sims in other areas to hang out in San Myshuno a lot. I appreciate the spacious neighborhoods and the varied aesthetics.
Least favorite EP: GTW because of the bugs that need to be corrected. The EP itself has grown on me and is a factor in my game. It does need the bugs to be worked out. While I sometimes like going actively to work, it makes it a bit difficult to do things like have a family. I guess that is sometimes a real life problem though. I like how CL introduced a work from home option. It would be great to see working from home added as an option sometimes for more careers.
Favorite GP: Dine Out and Spa Day are both big parts of my game. The restaurants are highly replayable as venues to visit. Outdoor Retreat is fine with me and I do send my sims camping sometimes. I pretty much control the pace of aging for my sims at this point so if I want to pause aging while they go on vacation or something, I will in a heartbeat. I would like to see more options for vacations but OR and camping will stay in the repertoire.
Least favorite GP: This is completely my personal preference but I have decided to sit out on Vampires. In a certain context, I'm sure I could really enjoy it but in the game that I have going, I'm not playing in a supernatural style so it would interfere with my gameplay. I've decided not to get it unless that changes. If I could control the generation of vampires in a save then I'd be more likely to get it but it's currently not a good fit for my gameplay style. I'm glad that it exists for other players to enjoy, it's just that supernatural is not my "primary" play style. Even doing things like having to surround a house in garlic would be immersion-breaking for me. I'd feel differently if I just wanted to play with a focus on vampires, then I'm sure I'd love it.
Favorite SP: I like all of the SPs that I've decided to get. They all add something to my game. I like the whimsical romantic style of Romantic Garden. Movie Hangouts is better than I thought it would be, I'm glad that I got it on a whim. I actually do like Bowling Night as well and bowling is a pretty frequent activity for some of my sims. I haven't gotten to the point of having bowling teams or leagues but it could happen.
Least Favorite SP: I'd like it if Perfect Patio came with more stuff but I do like it and I use the hot tubs, the patio decor and the fashion, so it is not a least favorite. I haven't bought any that I'm really not feeling or that don't seem to provide enough content for me. I am certainly willing to get a few more SPs including among those that I haven't gotten yet. It will depend on what I'm in the mood for or what my game would benefit from. So, the answer is that I don't own SPs that don't interest me enough.
