Really? For me, in my old Sims 3 saves, my brave Sims fought a few of them. I had my absent-minded, but brave fairy (who was also in the law enforcement career) fight a burglar one night, and a brave mermaid (who was in the cooking career) who did the same in another household.
But maybe it’s because of their brave trait?
Edited to add: Ah, sorry, missed @Kniga_Sitara ‘s previous post about this. Yeah, I think it was because my Sims were brave types.
