Favorite room in the house to design or decorate?

I love trying to think of what a particular sim (or general type of sim) would want and need in their room. It's so fun to create a story with the decorations and really think of why the sim might choose to have that object. I recently did a bear-themed toddler room and I had a blast coordinating the colours and arranging some teddies into an adorable bear family (no pics yet, sorry).

Decor, landscape, roofs, stairs, lights, window decors, door decors & the weather machine.

I'd have to go with kitchen I always put the most time and detail into them.

Very tricky question, but living rooms has to be my favourite to design.

That's a tough one. Either kitchen or living room for me.

I chose kitchen because I love all of the little details they have for kitchen decor. I love the way you can manipulate cabinetry and walls to make it either enormous and expansive or a cute little galley kitchen.

This is the same in real life too - My kitchen is my favorite part of my apartment.

I don't really have a favorite room to decorate. When I go all-out building a house, I like to do a fair bit of environmental storytelling. The architecture, the random decor, the furniture, the walls, the windows...everything is part of conveying what kind of person or people occupy that home. If I make my ideal home for my self-sim, it's going to be all Victorian-inspired with bay windows in the master bedroom and ornate furniture and wood-panel walls and stained glass windows. If I make a home for an ice-hearted corporate type, everything is going to be clean lines, clinical white, flat colors, and ceiling to floor walls of window.

I don't have a specific style in play. when the mood strikes it can determine how i setup a place irrespective of room. One thing i always make sure of is how organisied it is.
