Favorite spot for dates?
I personally like Stargazer Lounge (City living) or The Bluffs (Get Together). The latter is nice and private and no one interrupts my sims there.

I will usually do a restaurant for a first date, easier to limit outside conversations with other sims. Sometimes I like to do dates and weddings at the haunted mansion in Windenburg. Park dates are also some that I do but as they marry and have kids, I notice there are much less date nights :(
