Favorite Starting Lot?

For my Sims 4 on the PC, I just have the base game. I usually move my Sim into any house they can afford in Willow Creek. I always make the house fully furnished.
For my PS4, which I have almost all the packs for, it depends on the Sim, and what I want to do. If it is a normal Sim or Spellcaster, I will move them anywhere I want to in the worlds. If it is a Mermaid Sim, they go to Sulani. My Vampire Sims usually live in Forgotten Hallow, and my Werewolves live in Moonwood Mill. Partly my occult Sims are moved there so I can explore their traits. I also move Sims into the apartments. All my houses are furnished.
Other times, I may find a cheap house within their budget on the Gallery, and move the house into any empty lot that I feel would fit it.

I usually start my sim off in the small 2 bedroom house on the culdasac in Windenburg. Unfurnished, and I'll expand the walls, make a walk in closet in the master bedroom, add a workout area by adding another room off the kitchen. Furnish the house to suit my sim, but it also changes by what happens in her life.

Interesting question. I really don't have a favorite, but one of my fave areas in general are the back lots in Windenburg (upper left of screen)
