Hey all,In my opinion it's always nice to hear what small things people enjoy regarding TS4, so I thought I'd ask what people's favourite item is? Is there any CAS item, or a piece of furniture that has a special place in your heart- one that you try use wherever you can?Mine undoubtedly has to be the painting from Cats and Dogs that has a few different variants in different colours:https://i.imgur.com/jxB3gYj.pngI just think that it's a great design and can be used in so many places.What about you, is there any item that you can safely say is one of, or is your favourite amongst everything?

My favorite is the family portrait. Makes it so easy to take a snapshot in time of a household and decorate the home with it. I find getting the whole family posed to do it manually incredibly tedious. Next favorite is the selfies you can have sims take with other sims. Between the family portraits and the selfies, and the keys for sizing them, I hardly need any wall decor over the course of generations.

I like the wishing well. I don't really put them all over the place, though.

The Crafting Table. Oh how I wish I can craft all furnitures from one single crafting table. Too bad we cannot craft bench, bed and coffee table. That would be awesome.

I find myself using the appliances from Cool Kitchen a lot, as well as the fridge and stove from Parenthood.

Does Patchy count? I have to have him in all my saves! He is like my imaginary friend!

@Dutchysim, totally agree about that round light...I shrink that light and put it anywhere I want more light without having highly visible lighting fixtures. It's so simple and super bright compared to a lot of lights.

@dutchysim, absolutely! I have yet to not be able to shrink (or make bigger) anything from buy-mode that I have tried it with. It's extremely useful for a lot of the lights, which tend to be too large and garish for my tastes across all of the lighting options. They give off the same light, regardless of size...so must use LED technology.

The massive nightlight that keeps away the monster-under-the-bed is quite cute once you shrink it down to proper night-light size, for example.

@Stormkeep I never thought about shrinking those. Why I don't know, because I use that function a lot for other things. hehe. I try to be creative with the stuff the game has to offer, because I play vanilla.

I, too, use that light for every single house. I didn't think of shrinking it. You, my friend, are a genius. I also didn't know there was an anti-monster nightlight. That's probably going to become my new favorite, LOL.

Also, I really really love the snowglobes.

@queenofmyshuno The monster night light is called ssomething something..defender. Just search for "defender" in the text search and you'll figure out which light it is. :0) With it on in the room with children sleeping, you will never have monsters under the bed, so if you ever do want the monster, take it out (or turn it off..i think...never tried turning it off)

My Fav item was the Backyard stuff Drink Pitcher, but now it's the Spa Day Drink Tablet, BUT it's a modded version, you can serve EVERY drink, skills or not, I think there's more drinks that come with it too, like Drinks, that I drink! Gin & Tonic, etc. Sims actually use it, so they are always lit at my house! LOL

Probably the family portrait and/or the small kitchen appliances. They HAVE to be in every home in my game.

I love the traditional base game living room furniture and Uni for children --- and they must have a nanocan.
