February Patch Speculation Thread 2025 (Now Out)

I think the patch will be on 25th (the day marked in the roadmap) and I too think it will be connected with tattoos. I think it was lilsimsie who commented that the new gallery tattoo feature shown in the pack would surely have to be added to base game, at least in a limited way, so it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the main feature coming. As that doesn’t interest me in the slightest, I’m hoping it’s something else instead or as well as that…. 🙂

[EA Forums] Fixed spine distortion for male Sims with feminine physical frames.

Physical Frame has been broken for a decade now, every new packs add broken CAS assets. Personally I don't use it anymore, I gave up.

So much DLC is broken in this game right now.

You can feel the broken base 10 minutes into play time when you log in.

10 years worth of bugs compounded on each other as new DLC is introduced in the game.

EA has done this in the past.

EA left Sims 3 a buggy messs to start a new buggy mess with Sims 4.

5 years. That's all sims 3 got. The game that won the Teen Choice Awards. A game that explored The Sims worlds deeper then any with open worlds. They left it a buggy mess.

Thankfully mods like Nraas saved the game and made it playable for simmers.

I'm not into using mods to play a buggy game. I use specific mods to enhance the gameplay that EA has overlooked. 

We really shouldn't have to rely on modders to fix a broken game.

I would rather pay them then anyone working on the Sims for EA.

Will they ever include a police NPC? Cause burglars usually get arrested for stealing things from other sims' houses, right?

I'm hoping a new hobby may come in a base game update. The woodworking table should be updated to include the rocking horse that wasn't added in Horse Ranch. If toddler's can finally have get togethers on community lots , I'm going to be happy, I had to use a mod some time ago to randomly have toddlers come to the recreation center. I remember giving feedback to make it easier for toddler's to gather.
