For the most part, I love this EP! I love the aliens! Although, I do also wish there was a way to prevent them from being in my town, for the times when I may not want them in my game. I feel like disguises are not enough because I will talk to the townies sometimes, and I don't want to accidently discover that they're an alien. Other than that, I do like how you've made the aliens, I like how they don't all look the same. I plan to have an alien in my household in one of my saves.
One thing I really did not like is that you are required to find certain things before making something. I was okay with requiring the death flower for the shadow realm drink in the base game, but I really find it silly that you have to find certain ingredients before baking something and certain stuff before making a serum or an invention for the science career. I wish you would have made those optional. Maybe if this were an open world, it'd be better, but here, in a closed world, it just frustrates me.
As for the careers, I noticed the time thing is very weird. I wish I knew how to explain it. Up at the top left, it says the sims' workday ends at 5:45am, or something... it's a weird time bug, I guess. Also, I don't think I would mind longer work days for these new careers, or at least, you stay a little longer than 2 hours after your shift ends. I don't mind the goals at all, I just find it hard to do a decent amount of work all in one day. I think this is the one time that I do not mind the goals at all, though. Also, I did go a day or so in each career, I find that no one else does anything! It's even more frustrating in the detective career, everyone is just in the way. I did not get to dabble in retail yet, so I cannot comment on that. I never had OFB, so I guess this would be an interesting learning experience. Oh, and lockable doors would be nice!
I never really explored this new 'world' yet. It's small. I could say I wish it was bigger, but it's not like they can change it now. What I do want to say is that I would like more lots. Please don't give us another world as small as Magnolia Promenade. Other than that, I'm really enjoying this EP so far!
