What I like:
The amount of new stuff added to the game and that there are a lot of customers that come in to your store.
Haven't had much chance to play yet; as I was busy doing a profession; getting pregnant; buying a store and running it; and reading up on all that is new. (not in that precise order) :)
What I would like to see:
a Sign for a Florist/Floral Store. Maybe more Florist type of items to sell. That we could have more than 1 clerk to begin with as it is so busy.
That we could designate everything in the store "For Sale" with 1 click--or have a window, kind of the the old shopping list window--that shows you every item in the store that could sell, and you could highlight all that you want to sell and then click once to enable your choices.
That once we "Close" the store, any remaining customer that were waiting to check out, stay until they get checked out. The rest can leave.
What I don't care for:
That all of my customers pretty much hang around in one large group, and very few of them browse around the store. Also when checking them out, it takes so long to do so--I feel too long, for having just begun--that I can't get to other customers that are waiting to cash out, nor the ones that are showing a high interest--so either the interest falls before I get to them, or the customer gets tired fast of waiting to be cashed out--they then get mad and leave. Therefore, I lose a sale.
I also set my clerk's duties (belately) to cash people out---it didn't seem to do anything, though. He kept standing around with a group and talking to them. Possibly helping sales climb---but I still had to run around and cash people out.
I like the new way of cashing out--but would still like the old way also, of people forming a line at the cash register. This way, you could cash customers out, and if it was really busy; your clerk could help others in line or standing about the store to get them cashed out.
I found a Bug:
When playing the scientist profession, the time for my shift states: 10 am to 6pm (I think--not sure of ending time). My Sim goes to work on time and once there, the task list and clock, in the upper left hand corner says my Sims shift is from 3 am to 10 am (for example). It is totally off, and does not match my stated shift time--not even close.
