Feeling a little disappointed with Get Famous...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving pretty much all of the new features in the expansion. But I was really excited to have a new town to play and build in, and then when I actually got to see it in game, only 6 residential lots?!?!? And three of them are already taken?!?!?

It’s a total bummer. I was so hoping to have an ocean facing lot to build a beach house on. I was hoping to have some cool, developed space to expand into. It’s such a disappointingly tiny town though, and there are exactly zero lots along the beach. I’m kinda floored that it’s such a cool concept for the town and could have had some really versatile looking lots, and it’s just sort of empty instead.

Anyone else kinda bummed out about the size?

The more I read about this EP, and the complaints, the less impressed I am. That's sad, because I really liked some GPs in this game. The EPs don't seem to cut the mustard for me in this game. Even half off, I can't see anything here that would make me buy it. It's the opposite, it's one of those EPs I put on a do not buy list when looking around at games on my wish lists, and remind everyone, no don't get me this for Christmas.

This happened a few times these past three years where family went ahead gifted me GTW and GT etc. but then I did get some gameplay out of those, until they bugged out, but this one is going on the don't get this list. I'm not joking, I really wouldn't want it, nor it's bugs and or it's gameplay.

I still say it’s worth getting for the actor career and fame aspects alone. I haven’t had any issues with features. I’m still enjoying playing an actress on her rise to fame myself.

Just don’t go into it expecting to have a nice big town to move into and build/design in like I did. That’s where my disappointment came from. I was excepting a town at least close to the size of Willow Creek. Del Sol has a grand total of 11 lots. The only town smaller than that is Midnight Hollow (I don’t count magnolia promenade because it was designed for business lots in specific, not residential, though you can make those lots residential if you choose.) How on earth does a town so entrenched in a Hollywood style career have the second smallest town in game?

The features are great. The new career is great. I just wish they would have paid the same attention to make sure the new town was as great as the other features.
