Does anyone know what exactly triggers this? My toddler gets this moodlet almost constantly...mostly during friendly conversation, but sometimes even when she is idle it pops up unwarranted. She apparently feels that way towards her mother, who pretty much never said anything unfriendly to begin with. Don't attempt the seven toddler challenge. They all got sad and were all crying when they should have been playing in snow.

My child (not toddler) sim got it when she was forced to do homework. I quite liked it, the toddler never has it. Maybe it is something to do with her trait like @kostasmpi suggests? My toddler is a charmer and usually just goes along with everything. I'll give the brother the independent or fuzzy trait when he becomes a toddler, I'm curious now ^^

I'm curious too. My toddler (independed trait too) was also mad at his mother, and I didn't see what was happened. I remember that they had a normal chat, and let the mother told a story, plus some training, but then I changed to the other family members and then he was hurt suddenly.

I don't thibk this sentiment is really working properly on toddlers. I got this also without any reason to be seen and would like to avoid it in the future. :/

My child sim had this sentiment towards her mum but I didn’t see what happened to cause it. I would also like to know.

Okay my toddler just aged up and rolled the independent trait (not surprised, that was one plum of an annoying baby compared to his sisters). Let's see what happens (Fuyuka still never gets this moodlet).

I also had a toddler that got it for no reason - has the Charmer trait. Perhaps they assume all toddlers go through the terrible twos!

Ok that's way too dramatic. A toddler that has this strong feelings towards her mother for probably something so normal to occur in day to day life. I think for certain relationships these sentiments should have a different or less strong effect. This toddler is already rejecting her own mother :D Come on..
