Fires

The fire spread to every room on the first floor and burn for more than 24 hours but nothing burned up.

I saw that as well. Evidently in James' game the sprinkler put out the fire without the actual box of the sprinkler system being installed. He did this several times in the next vid, and the same thing happened every time. It happened about 5 or 6 times total.

Did the sprinkler finally appear in your fire?

I haven't had a fire recently.

@"Livin in Sim" No sprinkler appeared. The fire burned from around 1030 am until 515 the next evening.

Fires are still working for me. I had a fire recently and my sim's whole apartment burned up. I had to replace everything.

My sim tried to burn a pile of stinky leaves today. It lit on fire and burned for a long time. After 2 or 3 sim hours it finally went out but the leaf pile was still there.

I'd recommend him repairing the game by right-clicking on it in Origin. Unfortunately, I'm too shy on YouTube... :s

Thanks for the @ikiamyetta. A bit odd, all this, with some folks having sprinklers appear without being installed, and others not being able to put out fires at all. :confused:

I keep getting random fires in front of one of my fireplaces, even though i upgraded it to fireproof.

That's how my fire started, in front of a fireproof fireplace
