Fireworks?!

@SuperSillySim, This is a known game bug/glitch and is related to Cottage Living. I have the same problem, particularly when I try to light fireworks at one of the San Myshuno festivals.

There's a mod solution to fix it, if you are willing to start using mods, available here. If not, you're SoL until Maxis gets around to deciding to fix the problem, if ever. I can attest to the fact that the mod does fix it (I use it).

Until then, I also suggest you log in at EA Answers HQ and give a "Me too" to the official problem report here. The more people who do, the more likely we'll see an official patch fix the problem.
