First Flower Bunny Experience

These holidays are cracking me up! I just had Egg Hunting Day and the Flower Bunny showed up around 11 AM!
Are there different looking kinds, like Patchy?
She just entered the house and started dancing with the older kids, right before striking up a conversation with one of the toddlers. :D

  • Although one of the holiday traditions was flower bunny, the flower bunny didn't show up for me.

The Flower Bunny being mute makes total sense to me. I spent two summers as Bugs Bunny and I wasn't allowed to talk in costume. :P

Are you sure he/she wasn't just roaming around town? Mine spawned right across the street but others have been found all over their worlds for some reason...

Hehe sweet :) I played through a full year, but did not notice this event at all. Perhaps I was playing the wrong world if it's not global.

The Bunny Day (or whatever you wish to call it) holiday is not default, you have to add it yourself. Or at least that's how it was in my game. I'm not sure why they did it that way, but the tools are definitely all intact for us to make it, like Spooky Day/Halloween.
Yup you have to make both if you want your sims to celebrate it.

  • I didn't like OUR Flower Bunny who showed up, because.... unbelievable!!!.... she "hates children". :# - I was speechless that the game could be so mean to assign her THAT trait. Bro, Insider and "hates children". :s My toddler and child wanted to interact with Bunny, but she always ran away :'( , talked to adults only.
Did your bunnys have better traits?
Father Winter had only nice traits, but I thought the traits would not be randomized in any way. A Bunny that hates children... This is REALLY mean! ... I often fired butlers and other NPCs with THAT trait (also evil and mean ones), but I can't fire Flower Bunny, though.
If your Bunnys were nice to the kids, the traits must have been randomized somehow.
The "not speaking" thing I found rather cute. But I'm still enraged about the hating children, AND I haven't touched a bunny event ever since. Also still have to get a grip with the gnomes (I really FEAR them!!!!), because they are not to please in my game. Hrrrmphf.
Children-hating bunny was the worst thing up to now with seasons. ... You should have seen my poor toddler shying away from "HER", from that nice and cute bunny person who was supposed to bring joy to my kiddies. (Have to shout some forbidden words now!)

My favorite thing about flower egg day (that's what I called it xD) is that you can look for eggs in so many different places! Very nice touch.

    Also, lovely pictures!

Is he supposed to be mute, or is that a bug in my game? It’s super creepy either way, he just goes around throwing petals over Sims and not making any sounds. o.O

I LOVE the fact that he is mute. I surely am not the only one? It adds charm to his character. My one sim kid is best friends with him and it's almost like he functions as his imaginary friend. Their friendship is so cute.
  • My Flower Bunny was a Bro too, so my sim could do all the Bro interactions with them. Which was rather entertaining.
  • My flower bunny had bro and cheerful traits .. was an adult but it didn't show any other unknown traits so that was kind of weird. I love that they don't talk it's kind of like when you see fully costumed characters like Mickey an Minnie in Disney World they don't talk they just gesture. It makes sense to me anyway.
Oh mine showed up and was standing down the street a bit I had a sim run up to engage it and did the "chat here" to get it to come to the house. It might have come on it's own but I didn't want to wait.

Indeed, you have to make your own if you wish to celebrate them :).
