- I was really indifferent to it when I first read about it being introduced - why would I use it, it feels weird, I like how I play and see my sims now. But, I have to admit, I really love it! I don't think I could stay in it for long, I would get far too dizzy! But to zip in and out of it at certain times, just to see what they're seeing and to be 'in' their lives, is really awesome. I'll admit I was totally wrong with my first assumptions! (Never do swimming laps in a small pool though, it made me feel very sick!! :D )
- Jayel-17 years agoSeasoned Ace.... and how many people use this function on a regular basis. I totally forgot about until I just went through my bookmarks!
- Hejix7 years agoSeasoned NewcomerIt is pretty amusing. I switch to it in special occasions when I think it will be amusing, like in a fight. ;P
It also fits well the RPG elements of the game such as StrangerVille.
I felt like in Half-Life while playing the Sims. I was thrilled!

But I don't think it's a mode you're supposed to use all the time. - simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceI sometimes switch to it to take pictures but very rarely. Still think it could be fun for a specific playthrough/story.
- Simmerville7 years agoLegendI think it's nice they added this fun mode, but I mostly get dizzy from using it. Imagining it will be superb for certain use though, like filming a thriller sequence etc :)
- I absolutely love it! I've managed to get some amazing screenshots from it and I've felt closer to my sims since!
- GalacticGal7 years agoLegendI have played other games from the first-person perspective. I don't like it, so i haven't even given it a try. It should be noted that I suffer from Motion Sickness, too, and have since I was two-years-old. Dizzy, is phase one, for me. It only gets worse from there. No thank you. I'd rather not. But, do have fun with it. I'm so very glad it's optional.
- At first, I was REALLY excited! But then when I try it, I felt so dizzy. Maybe it's because of motion sickness...
I only try it when I'm bored, taking screenshots or when a sim is sleeping. They didn't move around so quickly... - SimAlexandria7 years agoSeasoned Ace

If you want to see what it looks like, you can do it when your game is paused. Then the sim won't be moving around and there won't be motion. But yeah I just use it once in awhile for fine but I never actually plan it oh, it's definitely always when the game is paused. - I like using it when I send sims jogging to enjoy the scenery in places like Windenberg. I don't play while in it because it's a bit annoying and I can't figure out how to get out of a room in 1st person xD
