First time I saw super efficient baby care

Oh my golly goodness. My supersim I am currently playing, had a baby girl and I for the first time ever saw the super efficient baby care option, what a rush!!. She super quickly moves like a vampire speed and feeds the baby a bottle and then throws her up in the air to change the nappy and goodness knows what else LOL. Never seen that before :o

  • In my current generation I made the grandparents move in with their adult child and his growing family. I got the Super Efficient Baby Care ability enabled when they were parenting him, but of course - too late for me to utilize. Well, that was until they moved in with him and his family! They became absolutely magnificent nannies for their grandchildren.

The ability also seems more "fitting" in a grandparent as they have been through raising children before and naturally have "secret knowledge"
  • I love that interaction, except when the mom is a breast-feeder. They didn't actually have baby bottles back in the 18th century. They had special spoons called pap-spoons so they could feed a baby after the mother deceased, as sadly that happened all too frequently.

What the what? ? Is that from having the parenting skill maxed?

Yes, it's from having level 10 parenting skill. There's also full parent mode.

mmm might look into that full parent mode once the second baby arrives ;)

I play with Parenthood a lot, but I have never had a parent reach level 10 parenting before, so now I guess I have a new goal!

What the what? I've never had a parent fail to maximise the Parenting skill. I play long lifespan and quite often the parents are on level 6 by the time the baby becomes toddler. I then play as the parents only to quickly raise the skill.

My sims start parenting at zero skill, and generally only have 2 kids max. So they don’t generally reach max parenting by the time the second infant ages up to toddler. So I have never seen this animation before.
