First time not using kaching or motherlode in several years
It's both amusing and annoying.
My first mistake was when I decided to get a starter base game home from the gallery. I didn't take into consideration the fact that it would take up most of the startup simoleans. Of course, in order to be starter it has the lowest priced items in it. (read, uncomfortable, smelly, and doesn't fill needs.) So it's been a challenge to get my Sim to stay in the green. I'm enjoying most of it. I had made her a collector that loves outdoors and was a loner so I could harvest, dig, and fish to make money until I decided what her role was going to be.
The second mistake, I went back in and added a pet for the extra simoleans. Yeah, pets are expensive. Oops. Lets not think about the vet visit we just had, shall we? Or the $28 household funds we currently have. I'm torn between making her get a job and just continuing on with the collecting and selling, and gardening. I did use poop for fertilizer for the first time. The dog is earning her keep!
