Food is not being served to some customers

Yes I have this problem also. What happens in my game is two different scenarios. The chef cooks the food the waiter picks it up and then sets it down on the floor. When it gets put on the floor it disappears ruining any chance to get it delivered.

The other scenario is the waiter delivers it to the table, goes through all the animations but the table is empty.

In both of these situations the chef doesn't cook a new order because the game thinks the customer received their food.

We need an option to serve the customer again.

The only time a chef re-makes the food is if a klutzy waiter drops it upon delivery.

For me it happens at least once for each shift. I don't think it has anything to do with how hard you work them.

I notice that sometimes customers you recommend dishes to won't recieve their dish.
- if they are alone
or
- if all sims at the table got their dish recommended.

The waiter never went to those tables

Have you noticed your server placing the food on the ground? In my game my servers will place food on the ground for unknown reasons which results in the food being deleted and the customer never receiving their order.

This bug has been incredibly prevalent in my game and it's rather annoying to not have the ability to resubmit that food to be made.

Yes, this is happening in my game which is why I think we need an option to serve the customer again.

Yes I do disallow new customers and I do have the fast eaters perk , are these options bugged ?

Some people (including me) have had some sort of problems with both disallow and faster eaters.

For some of us, the disallow seems to prevent sims from ordering food, but it seems that they get seated by the host or wander around the restaurant, often with a star rating that slowly turns red because they don't get to place an order. If you put your cursor over them they will say the wait time is too long.

For the faster eater perk, it seemed to me that sims would get out of their seats or even leave the restaurant without eating the food, sometimes leaving before the food was delivered.


I started both these at the same time and ended up with many unhappy sims sitting around and getting ignored by the waiters. Maybe I'll go back and try them one at a time and see what happens.

If there are dishes on the table that is waiting for food then the waiters won't deliver any. Make sure tables are always cleared.

I'd give mine, but it's been fickle to say the least.

Some days disallow won't work, sometimes it does, sometimes it's only late arrivals who show up after disallow is selected.. and missed tables.. think recommendations has something to do with it

Anything helps. One of the QA guys asked for saves and while I of course don't know if he got any, I could make sure he gets yours and also try it myself to see if I can replicate.

Are you using MC Command Center ?

I have full employees "a host / 3 waiters / 2 chefs" and all of them have maxed skills , they are satisfied and I never let them overwork , I always disallow new customers after a few hours so I don't over work them.
but there are some customers , usually the last ones never get their food & the waiters just stand still doing nothing.

Is it a particular table ? Anything they have in common ?

Do you have any ice cream or popcorn on your menu ?
