For people with 1000+ hours on TS4 -- What keeps you playing?

I noticed today that I've put in 3369 hours since I got TS4 on the day it released. I know what keeps me interested in the Sims, but I'd like to hear from other people who have put in a lot of time.

Sometimes it's a story or my own challenges, funny if I tried some of the popular challenges I would change everything but I can stick with my own choices. No matter what I'm doing it's a game to play to relax even when I played ts1 as a kid it goes from being 'a lot' as you get used to the mechanics to just some peaceful playtime.
