Did anyone come across info regarding this? The lot category exists in so many worlds that I suspect it might be basegame. It doesn't make sense to not address this when introducing rentable units...

I don't see rental lots changing. You'll probably need to use the new rental lot type to change the rental lots we have now and I'm fine with that because they're just places to send one sim family on vacation. Now when hotels come I'll expect to see different.
