as always the realistic benefit of preorder is setting aside that money when you have it so you know you can get what you want, but the exclusive items won't be available forever, it is just a decision. :)

If you get the code early enough I believe it can be redeemed but you still wouldn't be able to play it until the time of release. I'm pretty sure I got my code from CD Keys a few hours early once and I redeemed it ok, but I still had to wait to play.

So, no, there isn't really a benefit to pre-ordering other than if you manage to get it somewhere that is offering a good price for ordering before the day.

I think there is to get the bonus items.

You can get bonus items as long as you order before Jan 18, so no need to pre order.

Every single time, I can never remember if it's midnight or 6pm (for UK). One or the other I guess haha.

It drops at 1pm eastern time in the US so add or subtract hours as appropriate ?.
