For Rent Positive Thoughts Thread

First I wasn't sure about this pack. I don't like City Living but apartments ala Sims 2 sounds so fun, it's one of those aspects that you can always use, like they add to the general gameplay like Seasons. One thing that set my expectations so high was the return of burglars, I think they're not included just that nosy neighboor spying, I really hope I'm wrong and they add them with a toggle (just for those simmers who don't want them)

It's so evil to make us wait till December for this ?????
I'm so excited to have my sim families and friends and enemies all together.
I always make them neighbors but it's just not the same.
And if there are no loading screens this is revolutionary. Like a mini open world where I can have all my favorite sims together!!
I'm curious what the limit number of sims are... the more the better but I'll be happy even if it's just two full families. I feel like this feature alone is worth it to me.

I'm also wondering if we can be tenants and still get all of the landlord features. Such as having the landlord come in and fix our water heater and other things. It's fun to be able to play on either side.
I'm gonna make the most apocalyptic apartments bwahahahaha????
I'm also interested in making trailer parks and homeless camps. (Yes, my poor sims ?)
I like to do a version of rags to riches (where they never get rich ?)

All the breaking in, snooping, spying and blackmailing is a bonus. I can't wait to see the chaos this causes ?

Also just want to take moment to appreciate the inclusion of kids! ?

I wonder if we have to have a landlord. I would to play the tenant side but not always the landlord.. Just like we can use restaurants and stores without there being an owner.

I also really like this screenshot. We don't just get a new tea kettle but also a cute stuffed tiger toy for toddlers.

I feel like the fungus is supposed to be like mold but silly since its sims
or maybe I'm just drawing that conclusion cause as someone who has lived in mold house thats how it be feeling tbh

I do wonder if its like not cleaning your house =mold
or if its like lot challenge or something landlord sims have to solve
I feel like it should be lot challenge if it isn't cause it can be pretty annoying if you keep getting fungus everywhere

I also kind of wonder if sims can be immune to fungus via reward trait or something

I’m really excited about this. I can finally have town houses. I love the addition of marbles and hopscotch. I really hope that we can throw our own pool parties. That’s been on my wishlist for a while. When I played with mods, I had one for that event.

I am trying to have realistic expectations on certain features. Mainly the animal sanctuary. I noticed that there was no information about this in the blog post, pictures, or shown in the trailer. So I just want to be prepared for it to be a rabbit hole.

I can’t wait for the gameplay trailer.

The blog post did mention mold, so maybe this is that, or it is another challenge for the rental lots? :open_mouth:
