I wonder if sims will be able to use that crowbar on any locked door, not just apartment doors.

Yeah nothing stopping you from doing that, I just meant for an actual NPC to be a burglar

Strangerville, Vampires, snowy escape came with something similar. I doubt they will function at all. Most likely it’s just decor. There’s no real point for them to have a function without seasons. Still it’s one of the decor items I’ll be happy to have

I haven't been playing, but I am liking what's coming in this new pack. I have a couple of lots where I could use it and would definitely create more. My worries are how it will work for rotational play. I still haven't bought Horse Ranch because they haven't fixed Growing Together problem of milestones reseting in rotational play. Although this seems like a cool pack and I'd like to get the bonus items too it's just really hard to justify. I'll at least wait and see how it works first. So this is like an annoyed positive message, because yeah the concept seems interesting.

I'm very excited for this pack, when L and U shaped stairs update came out so many blueprints that are found online became buildable. Now even more will too. I have a few saved over the years that I really wanted to do, can't wait to try and build them?

As someone that LOVES renovating apartments, I genuinely think this pack looks amazing. Excited to play it :blush:

One of the main reasons is because it's inspired by South East Asian culture, which feels very familiar to me, even though I've never been there, for some odd reason. Oh I can just smell those delicious dishes. Hush now tummy, hush.

A long time ago my grandfather designed and built this beautiful family home on one of the Greater Sunda Islands, and luckily my father, who used to live there as a young boy, kept the blueprints to this house and shared it with me when I became an adult. The actual house no longer exists, or so I've been told - although one day I hope to build a second version of it, for real, somewhere in this world, or on another planet if I must. With my own bare hands. Yargh.
Until then I will create this house in The Sims and make an apartment out of it and rent it out to my many, many trouble scoundrels! :D

Apartment life has never been high on my wish list, but I know how much this new system will expand my gameplay just from looking at it!
I wonder, can each residential rental/ apartment have its own lot traits, like in City Living? I didn't read it anywhere, but it would make sense, right?
What kind of badge does the roaring lady carry? Is it an animal sanctuary license? And what does it actually mean?
As a fisherman, will my sim be able to sell all his fish (including his ex-merwife) at that seafood market?

This pack will be released one day before my break. That's a good thing. That's a really good thing.

@CAPTAIN_NXR7 how wonderful that you'll be able to recreate your father's childhood home. I hope you'll share it with us.

The radiators, true, but the air conditioner could be functional like the small heater from Snowy Escape.

The space heaters from Snowy Escape are functional, as Mt Komorebi has cold weather effects even if you don't have seasons. We haven't seen anything to indicate that For Rent will have hot weather effects, though.

On the other hand, being responsible for working heat/AC is usually a landlord's job, so it would fit with the pack

And it's always possible that they'll add in functionality to the items from other packs in the pre-pack patch. Highly unlikely, but not impossible.
